Q: How can I join?

A: You can stop by the YMCA front desk to join at any time we are open! Or you can join online. 

 

Q: Do I have to sign a contract?

A: No, we don't require you to sign a contract. We offer perpetual month to month memberships, drafting a card or bank account on the 15th of each month. We know you'll find great value in your Y membership. However, if you decide to cancel, please complete the cancellation form by the 10th of the month.

 

Q: How do I pay for my Y membership?

A: Your membership will be automatically drafted monthly from your bank account or credit card on the 15th of the month. You can change your payment method anytime by completing this form.

 

Q: Does the Y offer financial assistance for membership and programs?

A: Yes. Our goal is to serve everyone regardless of socio-economic status. Donations by individuals, businesses, and family foundations fund our financial assistance program. 

 

Q: Is there someone who can show me how to use the machines or give me workout advice?

A: Yes. We offer a fitness orientation to get you acquainted with the equipment. Please contact our Wellness Director Elyse Giles to schedule an orientation or for information on personal training.

 

Q: What can my kids do at the Y?

 6-weeks-old
  • Child Watch

 Child Watch is for active family membership holders only while parents utilize the facility. Parents must remain on property while their child is in Child Watch.

 6-months-old

 All 6-week-old benefits and

  • Swim lessons
 2 to 4-years-old

 All 6-month-old benefits and

  • Parent / child programs
 5 to 10-years-old

 All 2 to 4-year-old benefits and

  • Youth Programs
  • Summer day camp
 11 & 12-years-old

 All 5 to 10-year-old benefits and

  • Workout in fitness center with an adult

 Please note: child watch goes up to age 12

 13 to 15-years-old
  • Use all areas of the YMCA except Health Clubs, Strength Center & Women's Only Fitness Center* (10 foot pool is only accessible to confident swimmers)
  • Attend group exercise classes*
  • Participate in certain youth programs
  • Children age 13 can participate in summer day camp
  • Teens ages 14 & 15 can apply for our summer day camp Leader in Training Program

 *As long as an adult is in the facility

 16-years-old
  • Able to access the facility by themselves
  • Teens ages 16 & older can apply to work at the YMCA!

 Please note: Health Clubs are ages 18+ only

 

Q: Can my babysitter / nanny bring my kids to the Y?

A: If the babysitter / nanny is a member of the Y, absolutely! 

 

Q: Can I pay for my membership annually?

A: Yes. You can prepay for the year at the front desk. Please be advised, prepaid memberships are non-refundable.
