Camp Kelley celebrates 90 years this summer! Modeled after our overnight camps, Athens Y Camp & Camp Chattooga, Camp Kelley provides the adventure, character building, and outdoor fun of a sleepaway camp in a day camp setting. Kids spend their day swimming, exploring the trails, learning new sports, building teams, participating in literacy and STEAM activities, and so much more! Kids don't come to Camp Kelley to pass the time; they come to GROW! Lasting friendships, confidence, and memories are built at camp! Day camp is not day care; it's an immersive experience designed to develop and inspire young people. SUMMERS ARE FOR CAMP KELLEY! See you there!
The financial aid application lottery for Camp Kelley 2026 is now closed. If you missed the deadline or were not selected, please check our website on May 11 for information about a possible second round of financial assistance. Any additional assistance will depend on funding availability and is not guaranteed.
Need to cancel or change your camp registration? Click here. Requests must be submitted by 9 am the Thursday before the week you want to cancel or change. All program changes take two business days to process.
Take a Camp Kelley virtual tour! Coach Jordan and Coach Erin will take you through the commonly used places for campers. Please email jacqueline@athensymca.org for the password.
Please note: these tours show the flow of summer day camp. Youth programs are similar, but not the same. These tours are a great tool to show your child check-in, pick-up and the locker rooms. Coaches will be there to escort your child through every step.
Does your child love sports, creativity, or trying something new? Our Sports and Specialty Camps offer focused, high-energy experiences that build skills, confidence, and friendships—perfect for campers ready to explore their interests! Check out details HERE!
