Family & Participant Information

Date

Thursday, October 24th

Time

Families must pre-register to participate. There will be 50 families allowed in each time slot.

Time slot #1: 5 pm - 5:30 pm
Time slot #2: 5:45 pm - 6:15pm
Time slot #3: 6:30 - 7 pm

Cost

$2 per child fee is waived thanks to our 2024 sponsor: Johnson & Johnson
All families must pre-register to participate

Registration

Register from October 7th - October 22nd or until spots are full
Registration will be done using your online account
Please note: we do expect space to fill up quickly
Families will not be allowed to partcipate if they are not pre-registered

Additional Information for Participants

Ages 6 months to 13-years-old are welcome to trunk or treat
No pets
Alcohol and tobacco free event
Hand sanitizer - we will have "SLIME" stations at the entrance and exit of the parking lot for hand sanitizer.

Trunk Information

Car registration ends on October 17th or until 50 spaces are accounted for. To register a trunk, email Jacqueline Shirley - jacqueline@athensymca.org. Additional information will be sent upon registration.
Our goal is to have 50 cars participate! This is a great opportunity for businesses, families and community groups. Prizes and bragging rights awarded for 3 trunks.
Location: Athens YMCA parking lot next to the pool
Car set up time: 4 pm to 4:45 pm. All trunks must be ready by 4:45 pm.
Trunk awards will be announced at 7 pm after the last group of participants! No trunk may leave before 7:15 pm.
Candy: all cars are responsible for having enough individually wrapped candy or treats for at least 500 trunk or treaters. No homemade goodies.
Costumes are STRONGLY encouraged
No scary or violent decorations
No games
No participating vehicle may be left unattended
Everyone is responsible for cleaning up their own area
No electricity is available
Alcohol and tobacco free event
No pets
